Reef Volleyball Club is a member of the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) whose governing body is USA Volleyball. The purpose of the program is to provide the opportunity for athletes to receive quality instruction in volleyball skill development and strategy at all ability levels. REEF VBC is proud to take on this challenge and commitment. REEF VBC has a group of outstanding coaches, many from top area schools, who are committed to the success of this program.

The Reef Volleyball Club is an organization committed to teaching and developing volleyball skills as well as emphasizing the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline and self-motivation. We believe that participation in athletics promotes positive personal growth that benefits the individual athlete in many areas of their lives.

Reef VBC provides our athletes with high quality volleyball training and competition throughout the year. Participation by each individual is stressed.  By focusing on improvement in fundamental skills each participant will improve their overall performance. Our primary focus at this time is working with female athletes who are currently 10 through 18 years of age in the Ventura County and surrounding areas.

Reef VBC prides itself on preparing local athletes to not only make their school programs but to also be an impact player. Reef’s coaching staff includes multiple Head Coaches and supporting staff of local high school programs. Your child will be taught the same drills they will be expected to know for tryouts in their school programs. This gives each Reef VBC member the leg up on all of the possible competition.

Focus on the Future

Over the last 10 years Reef Volleyball Club has earned recognition as one of the top clubs in Ventura County. We have assisted many of our athletes play at numerous Colleges and Universities across the country. Reef fielded 8 teams last season with players ranging from age 10-18 years old. We take pride in offering competitive opportunities to a wide range of athletes from the novice to the potential scholarship athlete. We will continue providing a positive playing environment where local athletes can both enjoy and learn the game of volleyball.
